Strategic goals prepared on the basis of forum participants' proposals

These proposals cover a wide range of measures intended for the development of Azerbaijani science and education. They highlight educational initiatives such as joint and staged degree programmes with foreign and local faculty, certified courses, cooperation with international universities and dual-degree programmes. In the scientific field they include publications in Scopus-indexed journals, placements in international laboratories, research centres in artificial intelligence and digital technologies, patenting and translation projects.

Digital tools are also proposed — virtual universities, online platforms, YouTube channels and knowledge-exchange systems — together with diaspora participation, cooperation through ERASMUS and international grant mechanisms. In the cultural and humanitarian sphere, scientific missions related to Karabakh and the international promotion of Azerbaijani music are noted. The proposals further cover modern approaches in bioinformatics, medical technologies, green energy and regional development, and activities that encourage international integration.

This roadmap sets out strategic goals that strengthen the country's integration into the global scientific arena, mobilise diaspora potential effectively and shape a sustainable, innovation-based model of development.

Education and academic development
