Contributions and partners

Under the leadership of Mr Fuad Muradov, Chair of the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, committee staff Shahin Jamalov, Leyla Hamzayeva, Halima Fatullazade, Jahid Ismayilov, Mehriban Sultanova, Tural Safarov and Vagif Jafarov contributed directly through their professional work to the forum's high-level organisation.

Staff who carried out photo and video documentation within the forum framework, and Diaspora TV together with Vasila Vahidgizi, who organised interviews, executed an important part of this process.

Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev and his team played an active role in shaping the institutional framework that supported the forum's realisation.

AzTV, Public TV, Khazar TV, Real TV and other media platforms, together with press organisations including "Xalq qəzeti", took on the mission of ensuring the forum's visibility in the public and scientific arena.

Chair of the WAAS Board of Directors Mesud Afandiyev, co-chairs Bakhtiyar Siracov and Seymur Nasirov, board member and press secretary Saadat Karimi, and board members Emil Ahmadov, Sevinc Mammadova, Teymur Rzayev, Togrul Ismayil, Togrul Karimov and Yulduz Rahimov — who undertook the forum's conceptual preparation, programme design, moderation of discussions, and systematic collection and analytical processing of participants' views — shaped the strategic architecture of the process.

Writer-poet Eldar Akhadov, who created the participant database, prepared the electronic version of the appeal to the President, documented participants' impressions, and wrote four literary works inspired by the forum — "NUR", "FEELINGS FOR THE HOMELAND", "JIDIR PLAIN" and "KHADIJA" — served the preservation of the forum's spiritual and intellectual legacy.

President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Isa Habibbayli, Vice-President of the Academy, academician Rasim Aliquliyev, Rector of the Azerbaijan Painting Academy, People's Artist and sculptor Natig Aliyev, and a number of our other scientists contributed through their professional participation to strengthening the forum's scientific and institutional potential.

Rectors of Azerbaijani universities, who enriched plenary sessions and informal discussions with intellectual input, performed an important function in shaping an academic exchange environment

Scientific presentations by Asaf Salamov, Bakhtiyar Siracov, Dinara Abbasova, Eldar Akhadov, Mehdi Ganjali, Nigar Masumova, Nizami Mammadov, Reza Moridi, Saadat Karimi, Seymur Nasirov, Togrul Ismayil, Togrul Karimov, Khadija Zeynalova and Yulduz Rahimov made a significant contribution to shaping the forum programme.

Rector of Karabakh University Shahin Bayramov and the university staff, who showed high-level hospitality to participants within the Khankendi and Shusha programme, played an important strategic role in this mission.

Azerbaijani scientists of Azerbaijani descent who came from various countries around the world, representing fields of science, art and culture, were the principal intellectual participants whose active engagement defined the true meaning of the event.
